A Glimpse at
My Story…
I’ve been an entrepreneur for as long as I can remember.
My first business endeavour was making and selling friendship bracelets to my grade 3 classmates. 📿
At a few cents a pop, I wish I understood the importance of profit margins at an earlier age… 😆 but I digress.
The entrepreneurial bug 🦠 then followed me into adulthood and over the past 15 years I've started and grown multiple businesses:
From products (jewellery and eco-friendly goods) to network marketing (health and wellness) to services (jewellery workshops and business mentorship). 🪴
I started out with no idea what I was doing and no idea who to ask. 🤔 I didn’t have a business background or university degree, but I had a passion, a burning desire to learn and have always been a keen observer. 🕵️♀️
Through trial, error and self-directed learning I've figured out what works and what doesn't over the years (your work is usually worth way more than you give yourself credit for), 🌟 made some cringeworthy mistakes (pro-tip: always listen to your gut) 🧠 and learned quite a few lessons the hard way (you don't have to hustle and work 24/7 in order to generate a great income). 💰
As a creative and multi-passionate entrepreneur, I’ve also realized that the conventional ways of doing business don’t always work for me. 👩💼
Things like sticking to a rigid schedule, following “bro” marketing advice and trying to force energy or inspiration when it’s just not there. 😵💫 Instead…
I thrive when I pursue things that light me up 💡 and tend to burnout when I try to keep up with what others are doing. 🥵
I crave freedom and flexibility 🌊 but also rely on structure and routine. 🗓
I feel way more at peace 🕊 when I align my actions with my core values and honour my energy and boundaries. 🪐
